Where Your Child Builds the Foundation for a Lifetime of Learning

Between ages 3 and 6, your child is forming the habits, skills, and attitudes that will shape their entire educational journey. In many schools, these years look like simple preschool play. But in Montessori, they are so much more—this is when children become confident, curious learners who are ready to thrive in elementary school and beyond.

A Classroom Designed for Growth

Our Primary Program is a 3-year sequence (ages 3–6) that offers a rich, hands-on curriculum. In this carefully prepared environment, children explore:

Practical Life

Independence, concentration, and responsibility through real-life activities.

Language & Culture

Reading, writing, geography, science, Spanish, sign language, and music.

Mathematics & Sensorial

Concrete materials that bring abstract concepts to life,

Art & Nature

Creative expression, gardening, and outdoor exploration as part of daily learning.

.

"Great, healthy environment!"

"It is great knowing that your kids only complaint about school is not being there long enough.

You know they are in a great, healthy environment when that is the case."

- Salem Montessori Parent

More Than Academics

What makes the Primary Program unique is not just what children learn, but how they grow:

Independence & Self-Confidence

Children master “I can do it myself” skills that empower them for life.

Community & Leadership

Mixed-age classrooms allow younger children to learn from older peers, while older children develop leadership and empathy.

Focus & Self-Discipline

Freedom within structure teaches responsibility, patience, and respect.

Our Montessori-certified teachers guide rather than lecture, observing each child closely to introduce the right lesson at the right time.

The Transformation

When your child spends these years in Montessori, you don’t just get a kindergartener ready for elementary school—you get a child who loves to learn, can work independently, solves problems with confidence, and treats others with respect.

Your Child’s Future Begins here!

We celebrate diversity and strive to install integrity, compassion, and confidence in each student. We give each child support and encouragement to become his or her own unique self. We’d love to do the same for you.

Imagination School welcomes students regardless of race, gender, national and ethnic origin, and is non-discriminatory in all our policies.
